Mirror 2 the Heart, PLLC

Owners Joseph and Stephanie Briscoe

Mirror 2 the Heart, PLLC was founded in 2008 where life coaching was the only service provided at the time.  Over the years the founders worked with various non-profits, churches, and small businesses bringing inspiration to their vision and team morale.  They also began to work with couples from 0-7 years preparing them for “The Merge” which is a boot camp series they created for young couples.  The more cases they gained the more need they saw.  In 2016 they launched Mirror 2 the Heart into a full-time private practice which now offers professional coaching, counseling and facilitative services.  This decision opened the business up to a larger audience of people they believe they have been called to serve.   Coaches Corner has become one of those vehicles to grasping that larger concept.  They have what they call an ARC mentality where they model what they teach.  ARC stands for Accountable, Relatable and Consistent.  “People need to know that someone intentionally cares about their wellbeing, challenging the way they think, connecting with their journey and staying with them until they see it for themselves”, says CEO Stephanie Briscoe.

The founders are Joseph and Stephanie Briscoe, who have over 15 years of experience in teaching, coaching and counseling.  Both have undergraduate degrees in psychology from Winston-Salem State University where they also met and eventually married.  Joseph got his master’s in teaching and education at Regent University and later a certification in Professional Life Coaching through the Fowler Institute.   Stephanie received her masters from Liberty University in professional counseling which follows a plethora of certifications (i.e., NC Board of LCMHC, SC Board of LPC, National Board of Certified Counselors, Certified Telemental Health, Cognitive Processing Therapy).  With a heart for empowering people their journey has birthed into a mission from God.  They have been married for 22 years and have five beautiful children.
